PURCHASING POLICY
At Urban Road, every piece of artwork is crafted just for you - made to order with care and intention. We want you to feel confident and excited about your purchase, which is why we’re transparent about our processes and policies from the very beginning.
Please note that colour representation may vary slightly from screen to screen depending on your device settings. If you’re unsure about a particular piece, we’re here to help - reach out anytime.
To find the perfect fit for your space, we recommend using our View In Room tool and taking accurate measurements before confirming your order.
RETURNS
If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or doesn’t match the product description on our website, we’ll make it right.
Simply email us at info@urbanroad.com.au as soon as possible. We’ll ask you to provide clear photos of both the item and the packaging to help us assess the issue. Please keep the original packaging, as we may need it to organise a return collection.
If a refund is approved, it will be issued via your original payment method. Please note that gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
CHANGE OF MIND
While we hope you love your Urban Road piece, we understand that sometimes things change. However, please note that we’re unable to offer change of mind returns for the following items:
- Clearance pieces from our sales page
- Custom orders (outside our standard sizes and designs)
- Products that have been used or are no longer in resaleable condition
- Wallpaper that has been installed or partially installed
- Rolled prints that have been framed by a third party
- Rugs
If your item is eligible for a change of mind return, please get in touch at info@urbanroad.com.au, or submit a return request by logging into your account at www.urbanroad.com.
To qualify, your item must be returned in its original condition - unused and in original packaging. We'll provide a return shipping label for your convenience.
For eligible change of mind returns, we’ll issue a store credit for the value of the item(s), less a 20% restocking fee and any applicable return shipping charges. Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Need to cancel your order? No problem - just contact us at info@urbanroad.com.au within 24 hours of placing it. We’ll process a full refund if production hasn’t started.If more than 24 hours have passed, your item may already be in production. In that case, a 20% restocking fee may apply.
PRINT AND PRODUCTION
All Premium Art products are made to order in multiple warehouse locations across Australia. They require a 7-10 business day production time.
Urban Road artwork is printed on mediums that contain natural fibres, these may occasionally contain small slubs and/or minor imperfections and have slight colour variations, this is a natural part of the product and is not considered a fault.
PLEASE NOTE: Stylised lifestyle images displaying products on our website are for illustrative purposes only, colours may vary in real life.
EXPRESS PRODUCTION
Want it faster? Jump the queue with Express production.
Fast-track the production to 3 business days for all made-to-order Premium Art prints (including canvas, box frame canvas and framed prints).
The cost is AU $150.00 for up to 5 pieces of artwork.
If you require more than 5 prints, please get in touch with us at info@urbanroad.com.au for an Express Production quote.
PLEASE NOTE: Express production is NOT express shipping. It simply refers to fast-tracking the production time taken to create your beautiful artwork. All shipping timeframes vary and are dependent on the courier and delivery location. Shipping guidelines can be found here.
Express Production is not available during peak promo periods.
CUSTOM ORDERS
Can’t find the right size for your space? We can certainly assist you with custom sizes.
Please contact us at info@urbanroad.com.au with your chosen artwork and your desired size and frame colour and we can quote you. Size limitations apply and may vary with each product.
PLEASE NOTE: Custom orders are not included in any promotional sales or discounts and are not eligible for return under the Change of Mind Policy.
PRE-ORDERS
Getting in early on our upcoming products? Pre-orders are listed with an estimated date for dispatch, which may be delayed pending production.
Please allow some additional days from the estimated listed date for us to prepare and dispatch your order. If we can dispatch earlier, we will prioritise your order.

SHIPPING
Our delivery fees are variable and depend on multiple factors including but not limited to the size, weight, and type of products you order, as well as the shipping destination being Metro, Regional or Remote.
During the checkout process, we will display the delivery fee for your specific order, so you'll know the total price upfront. For more information visit our shipping page here.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to change the delivery address once the goods are dispatched.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Urban Road accepts payment by Credit Card, PayPal and AfterPay. Payment is required before an order can be processed. For international orders, we accept payment by PayPal or credit card only.
PROMOTIONS AND SALE
If you want to be the first to know about our sales and promotions sign up for our newsletter or follow our blog for more information.
Promotions, discounts and promotional codes are valid for the advertised dates and times only and cannot be extended. Discounts cannot be applied to orders placed outside the advertised promotion times.
If a discount code is supplied, this must be applied at checkout to redeem the promotion. Discount codes cannot be added after your order has been placed and confirmation received.
All promotions are available to Australian residents only. Unless specified, all promotions are available to retail customers only.
Promotions cannot be combined with other promotions. All promotional codes and special offers are not redeemable for cash, cannot be used to purchase gift cards, cannot be redeemed against prior purchases, are non-transferable, and do not apply to Trade and wholesale customers. Only one promotional code or special offer can be applied per transaction.
Promotions do not apply to shipping, GST duties or similar services. Unless specified, promotions do not apply to gift vouchers or pre-order items.
Please note that international orders, outside of Australia are excluded from promotions & sales.
Promotional or Sale items are NOT eligible for 'change of mind' returns. Once your order has been placed no amendments or cancellations can be made.
For promotions where you must buy 1 (or more) item(s) to get a reduction on the second (additional) item(s), the discount will be applied at checkout to the lower-priced item.
Promotional items are available only while stocks last

AFTERPAY
Afterpay offers instalment plans for online shoppers
Buy what you want today, and pay for it in four instalments, interest-free.
The payment platform allows you to purchase in four instalments, due every 2 weeks. For example, if you purchase an item for AU $200.00 you will pay it in four smaller instalments. There is no additional cost to use Afterpay so long as you pay on time.

THE NITTY-GRITTY
The funds for the first payment will need to be available at the time of checkout. If you are a new Afterpay customer, the first payment will be withdrawn at the time of purchase, with the remaining payments made periodically over the next 6 weeks. Once you have been an Afterpay customer for at least 6 weeks, for all orders under AU $500.00 your first payment will be made in 14 days, with the total amount being paid within 8 weeks.
Your payment schedule will be emailed to you.
If you fail to make any of the payments, you will incur a late payment fee of AU $10.00 with a further AU $7.00 added 7 days later if the account remains unpaid.
